EEG for a non-invasive, well-researched and a fun way to boost your joy.

Strengthen Neural pathways and build your joy

Strengthen Neural pathways and build your joy

Advances in technology over the last 3 decades have made EEG Wellness headsets accessible to build mental resilience and wellness. These can help to build neural networks supporting mental fitness or reduce stress.

Originally EEG was used as a clinical lens, seeing people as patients who experienced a mental or physical deficit or illness. Neurocoaching, on the other hand, is non-judgmental, and begins from a premise that each person is unique, and is doing their best in a given situation.

MYndWork reveals untapped potential and builds neural coherence for mental and physical wellbeing.

Join the THORT 7-day mental challenge and rewire your brain to cope with the pace of the 21 Century. Become fitter, more coherent and resilient. Have fun training and see the results. Compare your initial level of skill to the end result after 7 -days.

Boost mental well-being

A multiple case study examined the behavioral outcomes of neurocognitive training, targeting working memory, impulse control, attention/relaxation. using directed Neurofeedback to promote neural plasticity.

Bounce back quickly after a setback - use neurofeedback with neurocoaching to build mental plasticity with updated skills. Reclaim mental agility lost due to stress, aging, or join us for fun with neurofeedback.

Neurofeedback builds Smarter Brain Habits while you engage.

What if building new brain habits can make you happier and build mental fitness and resilience? That's what neuro-feedback does, as explained by Dr. Siegfried Othmer in an interview by Lisa Garr.

A brain that is dis-regulated may have the “potential” to reach great success but having lost its “shifting” ability, it is limited in its ability to go from a calm mindset to a problem solving mindset.

Build mental fitness and performance

Neurofeedback uses an electronic brain band or cap fitted with non-invasive sensors that touch the scalp.

It reveals the fluctuations in your brain activity, using specialized brain analysis software.

This records your dominant brain waves in the moment and this allows us to track the quality and coherence of your attention, state and mood over time.

Entrainment can be fun

Newer forms of neurofeedback such as brainwave entrainment are an easy, low-cost way to build neural plasticity.  Usually this neurofeedback is in the form of a THORTbot run, a video game, music, or movie.

During a neurofeedback session, we compare what your brain is actually doing to what you'd like it to be doing. When your brain is nearing a more comfortable state, you are rewarded with a positive response on a computer screen.

Track your progress over 7 days

By rule of thumb, any process that changes your perception also changes your brainwaves and physical state.

Much like physical exercises develops specific muscles. The more you practice the ability to direct your focus and hold your attention from wandering, the more efficient and mentally coherent you get.

As with learning a new skill, it requires repetition and time to consolidate results.

Watch point:

Children should only use verified and approved games for neurofeedback.

Engineering and software designers students make EEG games for university assignments, and then develop them further and market them without any awareness of the underlying cognitive and neural development implications. They make claims that appear to be convincing, but on further investigation they are not valid. The way the competitive and reward system is designed in the activity encourages the child to focus attention on building specific brain wave levels that could cause disturbed sleep or even increase underlying anxiety in susceptible children.
